My brain turns the show title into โStar Rants. Srants.โ

Our neighbor was a dead ringer for Olivia Newton-John in Grease!
I was eight years old when it came out in theaters and even I knew that was a bad choice. Like โwhere did the nice lady go? I want her back! The guy is dumb.โ
NASA reminded us all that, even in the darkest of times, our flag is still there. ๐บ๐ธ โค๏ธ
Take the wrong lesson from a movie:
Grease
Abandon your true self for social acceptance. And a man.
(I don't know, maybe that was the lesson they were trying to impart.)
And my mid 70s kid mind went to Leif Garrett as if somehow the first name was a connection! Relatively quickly I learned about Leif Erickson though.
Ah! I know they did want to make a show. It just didnโt happen.
It didn't actually appear anywhere. It was made specifically for AMT. Each kit included an adventure story, involving that ship, to help demonstrate the purpose or mission of that particular ship. The stories would have a central character, Lancer Scott.

Very true. I played a joined Trill in a Star Trek improv show so I shouldโve thought of that!
But I donโt remember Dax chastising Kira for having boring taste in men.
We last saw a satis box in the Lower Decks episode "Kayshon, His Eyes Open" It was one of the items in the collectors...uh, collection. I remember looking at it thinking "Why is there just a box did they run out of ide....wait IT'S A STASIS BOX!" #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight #StarTrekLowerDecks
"At this rate, they'll never get over those old superstitions!" Hahahahh...they're dead. Trek and those goofy endings! I believe this is the only deaths we see in TAS (save for maybe some flying plants). #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight
The Kzinti made a brief return in the daily Star Trek comic strip in 1982. "The Wristwatch Plantation" was co-written by Larry Niven. I kinda dig that ship! #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight
The original Kzinti design as seen in The Time Trap.
The Kzinti were originally based on a fan design. The art department (or maybe Bob Kline specifically not sure) was given the drawing. Once Bob realized it wasn't from someone at Filmation he evolved the look. We don't know if that fan was ever contacted. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight
Ok I love the TAS style but this just goofy! I never asked Bob about this specific design, but I probably should drop him a line and find out what they were thinking! ๐ #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight
Ok, at the time. The Cage wasn't presented in its original form until 1986 and not shown on TV until 1988. #TOSSatNight
Bob Kline used a sketch of the AMT Leif Ericson Galactic
Cruiser model as a place holder for the Copernicus. The Galactic Cruiser was designed by none other than the original Enterprise artist Matt Jeffries. #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight
"The Slaver Weapon" was the first Star Trek episode where Captain Kirk doesn't appear! #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight
Great stuff! Take a break and comeback at the top of the hour! #TOSSatNight #TASSatNight
I am fairly sure we had sheets with the same pattern as the commander's dress. I tried to do a reverse image search and didn't find the sheets, but found a whole bunch of dresses that look very similar! And they're not cosplay. #TOSSatNight
Shatner does crazy a little TOO well! ๐ #TOSSatNight
they are not they're...posting too fast!
If I didn't know any better, I would say that they're out of phase aliens sticking needles into Kirk's head! #TOSSatNight
"And then the alien flies of and attaches itself to John Hurt's face, like this!! GO!!!
#TOSSatNight
I donโt think heโll see the message until he wakes up, which will be after itโs over.
@seanferrick.bsky.social too bad itโs five in the morning for you because weโre gonna have Kzinti! #TOSatNight
I also have no idea what that picture is supposed to be. I did not post it!
I had a heart transplant, and go through the same thing. Normally, we have a party outside, which one of my friends host since I donโt have the space. My birthday is next month. I actually probably start thinking about that!
Itโs April 18! You know what that means! In 1938 the world saw the first sustained appearance I one of the single greatest fictional characters to ever exist: LOIS LANE. Some other notable great chars also appeared in that same Action Comics #1. But none quite as awesome as Lois.
She may not be bulletproof, but she seems to have an indestructible spine! She shouldโve been snapped in half many many times over!
