The game surfaces when your opponent is on a long streak and I just ended somebody’s 16 game win streak (at a spot on the ladder when they may have been 16-0) and it felt SO good, lmao

How is the official scoring going to handle Ohtani not hitting today with regards to his on base streak? He is going to fail to reach base in a game he played in, technically
A pandemic thing I forgot until today is how irritating it is to wear a mask on the same day that you shave
Rental teams don’t work the same way as before which is annoying, you have to have access to all of the pokemon in-game and you get charged VP to train the mons to match the rental. I hate this change but so far VP has not been tight, seems like that will get worse over time.
The problem is that my home box is full of not fully evolved stuff and I don’t have great continuity to Sword and Shield (and Scarlet Violet) since stuff went weird when I moved saves over to my switch 2
Zard Y/Venu/Rotom W/Incin/Sneasler/Azu. Works OK. Just copied the Aaron Zheng sun rental team but that had scarf chomp instead of Azu which would be better but I haven’t been able to get it in game yet.
Started playing pokemon champions today and I’m having a good time but I can tell that the monetization aspects of it are going to get pretty ugly pretty quickly
You'll never be able to make this case to baseball fans at large but I really enjoy how likable this Dodger team is.
Life is unfair
This is on a chart
Sitting so far away and off to the side, I couldn’t see the entire band. That was kind of a shame because seeing the totality of the production would have been fun.
The two songs where Tom Morello cut loose on guitar both ruled. So did Murder Incorporated, probably the best song of the set.
The music was fun. Only real complaint is that his newer stuff leans very heavily on Irish influence and a few of the songs sound pretty similar to each other. There’s also some complicated and unprompted call-and-response which makes it feel like it’s a club you don’t belong to
The show itself was quite good but the messiness of getting in put me in a bad mood that took awhile to erode. I like that Springsteen isn’t afraid of meeting this political moment (even if he seemed to think that Greenland belongs to the Netherlands).
When the show started there were no lights in the aisles of the section I was sitting in, so there was no way to see aisle and row numbers without a phone flashlight. Many people ended up in the wrong place, and many others were just rude about it.
After that, I got in the security line, still about 45 minutes to go. The line to get through security and into the venue was over a block long. The show started just as I got inside, still trying to find my seat.
Didn’t really say why the arena was so bad yesterday. I got there almost two hours before the show started. Waited in line at a restaurant for 30 minutes, then when I was at the front they told me they were out of food, so I had to do that again.

Once again, we don’t need new rules, we need enforcement of the rules we already have
Made it home. A hair under two hours from show ending to arriving at the apartment. I guess that’s fine but not something I’d do very often for pretty obvious reasons.
Another arena shot
Fun show. Arena logistics were a nightmare. Flip a coin if I make the last Bart train or get stuck in Oakland.
Tom Morello is also here
I regret to inform you that I’m “wear earplugs at concerts” years old
(I work in acoustics with hearing scientists, have to keep the ears protected)
He’s down there somewhere
I’m never going to a concert here again
If you quote post me and detach it, don’t follow that up with a screenshot. That is deeply shitty behavior.
There have been quotes about his fastball having less "life" lately so I don't think it's on purpose
Also on the subject of Díaz, I'm not really worried about the drop in fastball velocity but his average fourseam spin efficiency is down from 95% to 87%, which results in about 2" of less horizontal movement compared to last year
Makes you wonder if they are sending Roki down or if Díaz is actually hurt, but also later this week they start a 13 games/13 days stretch so extra length in the bullpen is useful
