Make custom elements behave with scoped registries  |  Blog  |  Chrome for Developers You can now encapsulate custom elements.

🎉 I'm so excited that scoped custom element registries is landing in Chrome and Edge! 🥳

This solves one of the biggest complaints with the web components APIs: the global tag name namespace.

Standards is a long game though: I first proposed this in 2017! 😲

💡 CSS Tip!

Have you ever tried to use "auto" within clamp()? Unfortunately, it doesn't work, but it's now possible using the new calc-size()!

css-tip.com/clamp-auto/

The same applies to all the sizing values (min-content, max-content, fit-content, etc.)

React devs, quick question: Should the context file only be responsible for sharing data, and should side effects be moved to custom hooks? Or is it okay to keep side effects in the same context file?

I really enjoyed your talk yesterday and today’s workshop—great sessions!

If I follow your tutorial, will I be able to build a Figma-to-code MCP server for our design system? Or do you have any other tutorials or resources that can help with building one specifically for a design system?

Can you please explain what is lexical scope in angular templates?

Happy to answer any questions about Angular here with two exceptions

1) I can't help you debug your code.
2) I can't tell you *when* something is going to land.

An image where you can read "CSS only". Not really useful, I know. But any good post needs an image, right? I don't know where I am going with this alt text but at least I wrote one and you read it.

I am getting a lot of followers recently 🫣 so i think it's time to join the game 🦋

If you followed me from a starter pack (and you don't know me) then make sure you like strange, hacky, unexpected, and sometimes useful #CSS experimentation because I will start spamming you the next days!
