Blue Lights is the best drama to come out of the BBC in a very long time. Can’t wait for the next series.

This has been one of the most challenging weeks of my life, but I got through it. And now I can relax my body and mind. What a perfect morning.

I was disappointed with how little I read in 2024, so I’m aiming to do better in 2025 and holding myself accountable by documenting it.

Here were my January reads. #books #blueskybooks #januaryreads

A beautiful Christmas tree decorated with red and gold baubles in a flat against a white wall and wooden floors. A cat creeps behind the bottom of the tree whilst a white cavapoo dog sits on edge of the sofa looking back at the camera person

The tree is up and the pets seem to approve.

I thought Wicked was good. Great? No. Just a solid good. Some scenes were excellent, some not.

But I do think they butchered ‘Defying Gravity’. It did not need to be chopped into tiny pieces like that.

My dog turned 2 a few weeks back, and last month we took him to a sandy beach for the first time.

Just watching him running up and down the sand, taking in the sights, sounds and smells for the first time and knowing he was having a ball brought us so much happiness. Dogs (pets) are so powerful. 💙
