I’m misty-eyed with nostalgic reverie. Last night I bleached my groceries for old time’s sake.

Every news outlet reporting Elon Musk's comment about accidentally canceling Ebola prevention efforts and quickly restoring them should also say they haven't been restored, they're still canceled, the outbreak-fighting teams are dismantled, the money is gone

3/ This contour data is provided by Baron Weather and represents data gathered from ground-based sensors and observers, quantitative precipitation estimates, and high-resolution model data for data-sparse regions.
2/ Before the update, users only got to see snow totals for areas that had an observation report in the last 48 hours from a specific location provided in the NWS' public information statements. Now, they can see broad area coverage of snowfall in addition to those reports.

Devastating for scientists and their research, and everyone who benefits from that research.
I’m not sure if everyone outside academia is aware that a delay or “pause” in grant funding often means the researchers themselves are lost from the field, along with their expertise.

Watched Alien: Romulus on the flight home from visiting family. While it's not the strongest entry in the franchise, I loved the return to the retro-style icons and computer screen interfaces, especially the simplistic stick-figure indicators for when gravity was on/off.

Man, I don't know, but I think you've just about got to the point of the original post. Lower turnout hurt Harris.
It was a fun journey. Glad we got there together. Like they say, it's not about the destination, it's about the friends you make along the way.
Let me hold your hand through it then. The differences in bar heights isn't as exaggerated, because you're showing all the votes. Try drawing a straight line from 2012 through 2024 again, and see how that works out when you make a genuine effort to do it correctly.
Or, go kick rocks. I don't care.
There is a huge contextual purpose in making the bars accurate representation of their true value: gprivate.com/6e9gn
And using your graph to paint a picture using old numbers paints a misleading picture. 80+ million votes was an anomaly. So was holding an election in the middle of a pandemic.
If you're going to conspiracy theory all over the place, you're gonna have to try harder with these shitty graphics. First, start your y-axis at 0 so the bar proportions are correct. Second, use a more up-to-date vote total for the 2024 results. You're shorting both candidates.

Voter turnout: Did Democrats stay home in 2024? In counties across the US where Donald Trump earned marginally more or fewer votes than he did in 2020, it can't help but feel like Kamala Harris missed an opportunity. t.co/3MmlmxJj1S
