Guess I’m gonna watch some of the 2nd season today and potentially come back and eat crow. I mean it’s not like a corporation would willingly kill a cash cow just to shove ads down our throats…right? …. 😬 right?

Full disclosure... I've only seen season 1. Didn't know there was a 2nd season
lol... it must've been bad enough to be bothered by it 3 years later. (not sarcastic)
I have a hard time calling something bad (especially cinema) when I can't provide what I didn't like about it. I know not everything is quantifiable but I still love to understand perceptions that I don't possess, which is why I was curious about your reasoning.
Fair enough. I know you're not contradictory out of pedanticism. Admittedly the show's representation of being "counter culture" while gaining mass popularity justifies your statement about it being overrated.
Thx! next object I model I'll give nomad a shot. I'm still struggling to model as fast in blender as I did in lightwave... Hopefully nomad will speed it up
Unpopular opinion on this thread... I actually liked it. I'm curious why you didn't? Aesthetics? Acting? or simply its popularity?
I think i need to learn nomadsculpt since it takes me so long to generate a high rez model and yours always look good. Any recommendations on a tutorial?
there are 27 bones in a human hand... I managed to animate her so it looks like she broke 45... so at least I got that going for me. #nailedit #blender #b3d
keep it up so i can vicariously live through you 😅. You should post more of your paintings
princess mononoke was/is/will always be one of my favorite movies. I think Miyazaki would be proud of this tribute
Okay I think I got the cloth physics in #blender figured out. Apparently you just have to subdivide the mesh into oblivion and apply negative pressure to a closed mesh. Now I can start figuring out facial rigging so she doesn't look like a deer in the headlights. #b3d #3dgraphics
This is awesome! Ive never had luck with physical painting... Apparently I control brush strokes better with a mouse. I genuinely admire your execution
Man it's tough to get the cloth physics right in #blender. Anybody got tips/advice on better cloth? #b3d #3dgraphics
Finally figured out cloth physics in parallel to hair physics in #blender. Now I'm dangerous. #b3d #3dgraphics
Absolutely love it. Great use of textures and lighting on a low poly set of building! Great work
@k0k0ze.bsky.social just accidentally found out that in blender 4.5 you don't need to do anything from the 2nd half of your tutorial.. Convert to particle system and making physics changes directly affects the curves now without having to export the .abc file
Thats why I was super confused! I used to have to do medical animations and work with radiant... I had no idea there was another one out there... Now there should be a level in puppytruck that is just an MRI room and the puppy has to mess up the scan 😂
#notai 4th and probably last #blender hair physics test. (medium quality) with some finishing touches in #aftereffects. I wish I joined @bsky.app earlier. The people I've met in the last few weeks have already made me a better artist. #b3d #motiongraphics #3dgraphics
just start taking a stable crypto coin... There's plenty and you don't need to worry about processing fees
@aimeecozza.com is someone I've hired several times... I've even got some her her artwork tattooed on my body. Highly recommend
I like her... I imagine her voice to be like jesse from team rocket in the original pokemon series
Oh... shit... thats how long i've been out of the game... Never heard of it as a level designer... Maybe after 11 years it's time to reinstall unity and check out radiant for level design
I thought radiant had a proprietary format specific to the medical industry... I've never seen anything from it outside of a doctors office
So the export is just obj? Ancient yes, but a file that's basically a json array of vertices is always gonna be useful... Wouldn't glb (also json) with webp textures be better geometry with a single file and less storage size?
Damn! Didn’t know that was possible. Any adjustments for collision detection needed or was it straight up just a drop in?
I don't know if wind will be important... I'm trying to make a modular set of models that will work in any situation... I usually do 3 models for every character, 1. high detail face, 2. medium detail face and torso 3. low detail full body. But the hair I want to just reuse on all 3
I didn't even bother with hair cards... @k0k0ze.bsky.social made a tutorial after I asked about hair physics.. you should check it out... render time didn't change at all since the physics is baked.
