the actual hockey is well explained and illustrated so there's bound to be a 'teaching the mc the fundamentals' arc coming and i can't wait. very smart to skip the hardest part to learn (actual skating) by having the guy be a national level figure skater tho.
only at chapter 2 and they haven't played yet but the mangaka putting an illustration like this up makes me think it leans toward slam dunk/hq style sports manga instead of knb/blue lock. also to me, mighty ducks is more the latter than the former and i don't want that.
