Old gameplay snippet of Louny. I like how this one kind of told a little story through sidescrolling with the baddies getting startled awake and running to get their own balloons. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Louny Balloony is currently under ongoing solo development, but the demo for the first two levels is available on Steam for free!

Had another stream of zero viewers aside from a single spambot that I immediately banned. At least I’m getting better at moderating!
Lol, no problem, it was supposed to be an April Fool's joke.
The dino is actually from different horror-based game I made called Hidden Dinosaur.

Based on the replies to my last post, it looks like no actually watched 'til the end of that clip to see and hear the incredibly loud dinosaur thing.
I'll probably keep reposting it sporadically over the next few months under different contexts until I successfully piss someone off.
Just finished the backing track (inspired by the Sega Genesis sound chip) to the sky level of my little platformer game!
Fly through the sky while facing off against whimsical flying machines.
Particularly proud of the cat balloon boss at the end!

Ended up watching Hoppers and Project Hail Mary this month.
One was a mildly entertaining children's movie with a lot of overacting and underexplained science stuff wherein a human and a little creature bond through adversity.
The other one was Hoppers.

A not-at-all overly complicated game over screen! Use feathers collected during your game to spend on powerups to help you on your next playthrough. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart
Still busy with other projects, but here's a WIP of the next potential level of Louny Balloony, a canyon level including some in-progress background music! #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart
Been busy with other projects lately. Here's a snippet of Louny gameplay in the meantime. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart
Some composited sprite animations (made from multiple tweening images) I made for Louny Balloony #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart
Gonna be streaming Return to Monkey Island in around 30 minutes at around 7:30PST
Never played it before, so it should be interesting!
Pinball... with inverse kinematics? Cooking up some strange pinball concepts lately. #gamedev #indiedev
Here's a little more focused view of Louny Balloony gameplay. The game takes advantage of a full screen resolution to allow you to spot when obstacles are coming.
But even with the extra space, there's always stuff around for the player to interact with!

Gonna go for a walk and get my car washed this morning.
Afterwards, gonna try to stream some pinball gamedev hopefully around 12PM PST. Keep ya posted!

Cat balloon boss in action!
It launches its whiskers and ears as spikes that home in on the player.
Find an opening and attack to take the wind out of this hot-air menace!

Think I finally got the physics down for a generic pinball board with just paddles and side bumpers. Even supports robust multi-ball! #gamedev #indiedev
