Congrats!!!
Mandatory work socialization is the worst.
I once worked for a small, family owned company that required us to attend the Christmas party if we wanted to get a Christmas bonus.
Which meant my Jewish coworkers had to go to the Christian party and endure the prayer session to get their bonus.
Agreed.
The NDA was leaked. Part of it included not disclosing who the company is that is building the data center.
Later came out that it is JL LLC, doing business as Shaytura LLC, which are subsidiaries of Meta.
It’s fucking Zuck.
Got mine in 2013.
Just had to replace it last month because the software is no longer supporting this model. :(
They’re putting a data center just outside of my town.
The land hasn’t even been cleared yet and they already have a security presence.
They know they aren’t wanted. That’s why city council members are signing NDAs and having emergency sessions to pass them without public input periods.
Not even previews.
Just commercials.
There’s another one going around this week about Trump locked out of situation room during Iran rescue mission.
It’s been picked up by several news aggregate sites but the only source I can trace it to is the 19 yr old who wrote it. The article he claims to be referencing doesn’t seem to exist.
If Liz Cheney - a conservative who voted 90+ % of the time in line with the Trump agenda - supports Kamala, it reflects very negatively on Kamala’s positions.
If NO CHANGE in Kamala’s policy positions are needed to gain her Liz’s support, it reflects INSANELY negatively on Kamala’s positions.
Conservatives calling themselves democrats isn’t a two party system problem.
It’s a democrat problem.
Losing elections is the consequence.
I have an issue with conservatives calling themselves democrats.
Especially when they expect the people on the left to fall in line and vote for them.
We don’t need 2 right wing parties.
We need choice.
We need progress.
Why do y’all only seem to care when it’s soecific categories of people being treated illegally?
That woman’s rights are no more important than anyone else who has had their rights violated by ICE.
Cover them all.
Let the country see that rights are violated EVERY DAY!
There are no ideas.
Most Dems are moderate conservatives these days.
But then the jar to be able to state the needed changes they are going to make.
And how they are going to make them.
And prove that they actually intend to make them an aren’t going to sell out to big donors and lobbyists the minute they get sworn in.
That’s why recalls and snap elections should be available for every elected office.
Literally the entire strategy of the Dem party since 2016.
The only source I have seen for this is a 19 yr old kid.
He claimed to have gotten the info from the Wall Street Journal, but that doesn’t appear to be searchable.
He has gotten himself published by several news aggregates, but I still can’t verify his (public media) source.
Seems sus.
ICE needs abolished, Senator
Show some bravery and do the right thing.
Or resign and let us replace you with someone who will.
People used their free will to not vote for a candidate who they didn’t feel represented them.
Kamala used her free will to not change policy positions to ones that would attract more voters.
One person had the power to change this outcome. Kamala.
There was going to be genocide either way.
The US was going to arm a genocide either way.
He was pressuring her by voting for her no matter what and then (MAYBE) sending an email to ask her to pretty please override her promises to donors and change positions.
How the fuck are Dem strategists not understanding the system at this point?
When they listen to donors and think tanks instead of the voters, they lose elections.
Maybe they should stop being the lesser of two evils and try standing for something.
Dems win when they stand for something.
Dude. It doesn’t work when you try to turn it around.
Because there was no “anti-genocide” choice.
There was one candidate who could have changed her position and gained votes instead of losing them, but she chose genocide.
Every time Dems explain away legitimate criticism of policy as sexism, they ensure future losses.
Are there ppl who would never vote for a woman. Yes. Almost all of them are Repubs who would never vote blue.
Blue voters are telling you they have major moral issues with candidates. LISTEN TO THEM!
Except criticizing her is the ONLY way we get Dems to correct their policy positions in a way that makes them electable.
Supporting them when they fuck up even the easiest of wins just enables them to continue to say “kick rocks” to their voters - ensuring they will lose all over again.
“implication” in this context is just another word for “assumption”
Because you have zero data to back it up.
My criticism of a candidate who fumbled the bal and lost to a fascist does not definitively indicate my personal voting history.
I realize it is more convenient to you to make assumptions and attack individual voters, but the fact remains that she ignored data and fucking blew it.
And why the fuck do you keep assuming I didn’t vote for her?
Not that it mattered how I voted, thanks to the existence of the electoral college.
But the point stands - what makes you think criticism of a candidate means I don’t vote for her? I’ve voted blue my whole damn life.
Not what I want.
What the majority of their voters supported.
You keep trying to blame this on individual voters, but at the end of the day she refused to represent policy that a majority of voters supported because…she’s down with genocide? She’s owned by AIPAC? She’s that loyal to Biden?
