Reddit also became so sad because of this. Every post and comment I read I have to ask myself if it was created by a human or by AI. Especially when I want to comment, because the thought of replying to a LLM without realizing it just feels so pathetic.

๐ฃCalling all content creators๐ฃ
It's less than a month until Grimoire Groves releases ๐ฑ If you would like to get a super sparkly โจreview keyโจ so you can play Grimoire Groves before it releases, we got a sign-up form for you๐ธ

Please also help spread the word by reposting ๐
๐ Psst..weโve got some exciting news!
With the help of witch magic, Grimoire Groves is releasing early on March 4th!๐ง
Also, a new demo releases February 17th, so you can soon grow your garden, cast some spells and make new friends!๐ฎ
Trailer is too long for Bsky, so have a random bug video ๐
Been thinking a lot about posting more often about my WIP stuff after Grimoire Groves is released. But then again, I worry that this might mess with a first big game reveal marketing beat ๐ค
Anyone got any advice on that?

Would love to be on there if there's still space ๐
Not sure if a bug or a feature ๐ค

Just realized that this might sound like "my favorites are not on here, so have these instead", but what I meant was of course "these are two of the most helpful people I know - there would be more, but they are not on Bluesky" ๐
Many of the most wonderful people in the industry don't have a Bluesky account (yet), but let me just leave these two lovely people here ๐ฅฐ

Screenshot of poll that shows that 58% of readers have played a Swiss game before.
The craziest part about the new SRF article about funding for games in Zurich is that 58% of the readers say they have played a Swiss video game before.
That not only means they care about (Swiss) indie games, but also that they know which games actually were made in Switzerland ๐คฏ

Congrats ๐
Yeah, 100%! It's just always this feeling in the back of my head that I must have forgotten something, as a launch can't feel that "normal" ๐
Also, it's so weird. The Grimoire Groves release is roughly a month away and I'm pretty calm about it. Heck, the thing is super buggy and unbalanced, but I just feel like it will be ok? I feel so guilty about not freaking outโฆ
Yeah I have something similar. It's not weird at all to use English words in everyday German among my peers, but if I talk to my family, I struggle to find the corresponding German expressions (they don't speak any English).
Well, I guess I'm a weird Frankenstein's monster: My English vocabulary is not too great because I'm not a native speaker, but my German vocabulary also is lacking because I consume most media in English ๐
And I really hope people will like it too! I tried to create a happy-go-lucky vibe, and I hope it does not come across as childish or as a kids game. Buuut kids might dig the story ๐
Just finished translating Grimoire Groves to German. And I had so much fun!
I mean I tried to write funny dialogues when I wrote the story, but somehow it hits so much harder in German. Not sure if it is because it's because I'm a German native speaker, or if the stuff just is funnier in German.
The best part is that I have a new PC and I haven't deployed to Steam with it before. So I also had the additional thrill of messing up the Steam upload, which is absolutely wonderful โจ
It's 9.30pm. You notice that while fixing a bug for your closed beta, you accidentally created another bug (of course).
Now it's 9.43pm and you watch your build pipeline slowly building.
You hope that your bug fix for the previous bug fix will not introduce another new bug to the beta. ๐ฎโ๐จ
Played Grimoire Groves with only two fingers today, to try and simulate how hard the game is if you just picked it up (and don't have like 4 years of experience like me).
Well, now my hands hurt. Thanks, game dev tip I read somewhere months ago โน๏ธ
๐ฃLast chance to participate in the raffle๐ฃ
Tomorrow, the winners will get their keys for the last Grimoire Groves beta before the game releases ๐ฑ
Don't forget that you still can enter the raffle to win a free key for the super โจexlusiveโจ Grimoire Groves closed beta! ๐

My first iMac was a 2007 model and I ran a VM on it to play games ๐
These screenshots also perfectly illustrate that I haven't upgraded my PC in 6 years, and it's starting to show ๐ข
I'm no soulslike expert, Elden Ring is the first and only I played, and I'm at 80h now. So most people who care about these games probably have more experience.
Personally, I feel like this is one of the games that gives me the least guidance of where I need to go or what I can interact with.
An Elden Ring screenshot showing a door sealed by yellow wax
Can't get enough of these sealed doors ๐
A screenshot of Elden Ring, showing yellow wax to seal doors and windows closed.
I know, the "yellow paint" discussion is very 2024, but I'm playing Elden Ring over the holidays and their use of "yellow paint" - or refusal thereof - amuses me a lot.
