I might be in Jerez at the end of May. There's a special event coming up!

No problem! Vinegar is fascinating. Once you start digging into the science of balsamic production, things get very complicated.

So really, the key driver of the final acidity in the vinegar is the original alcohol level, not the wine’s starting acidity.

I don't know the exaact maths but I think the grape acidity would probably make up about 10% of the final acidity. Bear in mind that "7 degrees of Acidity" would mean 70g/Litre. Sherry acidity is roughly 6g/Litre. But thats all very rough maths!

Not a joke! The majority of the acid in vinegar is acetic acid, produced when acetic acid bacteria oxidise ethanol.

Huge jar of Lau Gan Ma Chilli oil. 700 grams of flavour.

Not quite fitting in with your other ingredients but you may as well chuck in a catering size jar of Lao Gan Ma while you are there.

Watching from our kitchen, unable to stop a cat catching a baby robin in our garden last year, followed by the parents calling for thier baby over and over all afternoon. This led me to the conclusion that cats are a bad thing and can get the F out of our garden.

When David Bowie died, my dad said "I don't understand why everyone is so upset. Was he as good as Lennon and McCartney?" My dad stopped listening to new music after Sgt Pepper came out. He was 21

Well that was a weird rush of nostalgia or something. I've not seen that cover for decades. Probably had Simpson's sing the blues on in the background

It's flowering time! If you don't see flowers during the day, have a look at night. Some succulents open their flowers to attract moths. They need specific conditions to do this but most will do this every year

There is something very satisfying about isolating and extracting very long eyebrow hairs. Staving off aging one hair at a time.

He is lovely! Looks a lot like our Lucas terrier who attempts a similar pose before falling backwards into a roll in an adorable way

I’m always impressed at Quietus ability to put together a list of albums and musicians I’ve mostly not heard before. Exciting and daunting to listen through this list.

Ok so I’m looking for feedback. My MIL makes quilts and I think seriously undervalues her work. What do you all you would pay in gbp for each of these?
