SILVERADO (1985)
Dearly beloved, we had Prince.
Iggy Pop 78 (at that time) David Byrne 73. 🤔
Never heard of this one before “The Flight of Dragons”, right?
Share a 80s movie you will always love.
This is correct.
Probably was the intent. But as is common knowledge now for SF fans, a 50 psl sublight trip of only a few parsecs would take a decade. So I personally, need to fudge it right in order to suspend by disbelief and enjoy the drama.
The worst part is, that since the Greeks kept lists and some of those have survived, we actually know about what was lost. And it’s achingly vast. Alexandria was only one of so many libraries too.
That has always been my head-canon. Regardless of what they meant at the time, and it may have been a poor understanding of physics, this is the only way to rationalize the episode.
In many ways, little and big, The Cage actually looks more futuristic that the regular run of TOS.
Never read the book but the film is great! Saw it first when I was a teenager and I liked it, but when I saw it again a few decades later - wow! Some things take mileage to better understand and appreciate.
I watched each of their shows in the early 80s all the time and they each had a Heather in their casts. Because I was of a certain age, I will never forget this.
This is best in life!

So he walked along the line to apologize to the huge queue and happened to stop where I was to speak directly to me (as a proxy for the ppl in our section, I assume) to apologize. I got to shake his hand speak to him. Still stoked almost 40 yrs later. 2/2
De Forest Kelley was an absolute joy to hear and get his autograph. Stewart was wonderful as well, this was his very first con. He spoke without a mic to practice his stage voice it’s was thrilling! I actually didn’t get his graph as he had never done a con, his signing hand wore out. 1/2
I remember seeing BUCK ROGERS in syndication in the 80s and here is the proof that it wasn’t just a fever dream. 😁🖖
I remember seeing it back in the 80s.
In the US it was available for syndication. I remember watching it along Galactica on weekends in my area.
This is correct.

Here is a clip of “Kirk Does It Again” from the climax of the latter.
