Haven't tried hooking up a Guncon 1 or Sega Stunner (don't have any SNAC adapters) but the GunCon 3 works amazingly well with every core I've tried it with.

When I moved from game dev to boring normal program development, I was blown away by the professionalism. Managers who actually adjusted deadlines based on your input! Realistic timelines! It makes you happy that people outside gamedev are normal and mad that the PMs of gamedev are so monstrous!

You can also properly swap the buttons on the controller itself, and it's a per-connection setting, so you can have X=top and A=right on the Switch pairing but keep it with the Xbox layout for other pairing/connection modes.

Nope! It has the original's handling with the updated visuals of CCE (and also unfortunately the soundtrack of CCE).

There are two releases of Daytona on PC. The first is a very barebones, basic port of the first Saturn release. The second is the Deluxe one that I mentioned.

And then they put out a PC release called Daytona USA Deluxe that has the graphical improvements of CCE (and 3D acceleration support!) but the handling of the original. Up until the XBLA/PSN port, I'd say it was the best home version.

It's fascinating how Ridge Racer on PS1 is so close and yet so far from the arcade one. It's great, and does some clever things to expand on the arcade version, but the feel is completely different. You can't really use it for practice outside of the most shallow aspects (learning the track, etc.)

Will this be coming to the Itch version as well?

I'm not sure I actually like Firefox, but I think I dislike it the least of any modern web browser.

I have three GameSir controllers so far (G7 Pro Zenless, G7 HE Xbox, and Tegenaria Lite) and they have all been nothing short of excellent. It's borderline criminal that first-party controllers cost $80+ and still develop stick drift and other faults.

The first Abysm has one of the most brilliant bits of game design I've seen, given how customizable Doom source ports are: you are immediately confronted with a pit that requires a jump to progress, showing you that you have to pay attention to the keybindings and go beyond Doom's.
