Actually pretty well, I think the discipline of ironing uniform and preparing bags for lessons is helping. I’ve also been able to come up with some ideas of how to improve the unit and the teaching, my brain allows me to come up with the ideas and my Detachment Commander helps me see them through 😁

I’ve joined Royal Marines Cadets as an adult instructor to try and train my brain, within 4 months of joining I’ve been put into the 2IC role which is admin heavy 😂 trial by fire

I have never programmed Java, did python at school, C at uni and VHDL in work/uni

What language are you learning?

In my regular job I tend to sit in meetings building Lego, it’s weirdly easier for me to focus on the meeting if I’m doing something.

32 I just thought I was shit having to stay up till 2am the night before a deadline, walking into a room and forgetting what I went in there for 😂
