4/ This isn’t about politics, it’s about priorities. If we can fund endless operations and military expansion, we can absolutely ensure that the people carrying out those missions are properly cared for.
No service member should be worrying about their next meal while serving their country.
3/ That’s not just heartbreaking, it’s unacceptable.
We ask so much of our military: long deployments, dangerous assignments, time away from family. The very least we owe them is proper nutrition and basic dignity. Hunger should never be part of their service.
