Made it to the finish line and back home to Berlin.
Weather was good for hiking and only started to drizzle a little towards the last 3km. Lotsa lakes. Feel like I've spend all day at lakes, near lakes, walking around lakes. Enough lakes for today. Heldenmarsch was well organized, would join again 😊

Decided to join a 42km march in Schwerin spontaneously. Drove up yesterday and probably had the best view out of a hotel room window in my life 😆
Also man. I didn't know Schwerin is so beautiful. Had a quick stroll yesterday evening and was so impressed. Beautiful.

I have a Go Fund Me page for help with my heart surgeries. Insurance will cover the operations, but I won't be able to work for a while. Help if you can, even if it's only good vibes. Thanks!

I'm probably too deep into that rabbit hole currently. Watched so many 100km march videos on Youtube. Almost feels like Ive already walked it 😂😅

Maybe just maybe I'm a little nervous about my 100km march in May. Might have signed up for a spontaneous 42km practice march event this Saturday in Schwerin 🫢
It's not Mammutmarsch but Heldenmarsch. Same same but different. Only 800 participants.

Good job! Congrats.

Agree with berry! Anti blister hiking socks are a dream (not too thick for summer so your feet dont sweat). I love Falke as brand.
Also switching to trail running shoes instead of running shoes. A little more room for your feet as they swell a little during the hike.

Drove to the Spreewald for a day trip with a friend and we went on a 2h canoe trip and for some hiking through the forest. The region is famous for its pickles. So of course we had plenty of those, too :3 🥒

Theres this adorable fox café in the middle of nowhere (at least that's how it feels to me) in Berlin.
My attempt to see an alley of blooming cherry blossom trees failed as they are not blooming yet despite my hopes. So I went to have lunch at the fox cafe yesterday.

I’ve completed my jaw surgery, but I can’t afford the next step of my FFS — my forehead. This surgery would greatly improve my daily life and comfort in my own reflection. If you can support, even a little helps. Sharing also means a lot. Thank you!

Mammutmarsch Hamburg was an experience. A very rainy one. Apart from a few hours it was raining most of the time and very muddy, too. Finished the 50km in a good time regardless. Mostly because taking extended breaks wasn't comfortable due to the rain 🤣

That's one way to deal with it 🤭
Maybe a nicer spot in summer when sitting outside is an option.
