the trap bench also just kinda reaffirms to me that they know the placement is brutal. I think it does echo that the world in silksong is brutal and hostile but I also think there's a balance to be struck between fair and tedious

i'm enjoying silksong so far BUT
i do think the bench placements are not good (so far?) - I think making people retread platforming puzzles/enemies just feels like meh design. I don't think the difficulty should be shaved down to a smooth edge either, but I can see people getting frustrated at it
