Been rewatching The Good Place. When we meet the folks running the Good Place, they act like Democrats. They’re faced with a massive systemic problem that is causing real pain for millions of souls. Their response is to form a series of committees over 1000 years to figure out what they should do.

“Dad, I’m just curious, what happens if you put a piece of paper in the fridge?” Followed up with instructions to not open the fridge until I want food or drink.
