That's a huge reason why HZD, despite its many merits, never had the impact of BOTW. Invisible walls and limited climbing was the norm for so many games but BOTW came out a week later and immediately made it feel old and outdated. If Nintendo could do it in 2017 why couldn't Sony? Etc.

This is an amazing and impressive feat, honestly, given that her story was primarily communicated via children's picture book. Like you'd need an appreciation for the art of storytelling that is less developed than that of a pre-verbal toddler to screw that up.
