It feels like the kind of adaptation that will encourage people who haven't read it to get around to reading it, or maybe that's just me wanting to read it now.
Nice! I plan on getting around to reading it because I remember the art being incredibly unique.
One of my earliest memories was going with my babysitter to the comic store so she could pick up the new issues of The Sandman. At the time, that sort of stuff was way too adult for me, but it still gave me that sense of magic and wonder.
