Let’s hope they are held accountable for killing Renee Nicole Good. This is not something that can reformed, it should not exist.

In 2010, bp/ICE officers beat and tased Anastasio Hernandez to death, there was a group of at least 15. The attack was filmed. Nothing was done, these officers were never held accountable. This is who ice/bp have always been. Since Anastasio, hundreds more have been killed by both.
Also, share your Letterboxd accounts! I wanna see what people are watching 🥰
Cover of the movie Kung Fun Zombie, featuring the main character in a fighting pose. The background behind him is blue.
Yes I did pick Kung Fu Zombies based on the name and yes, it was completely ridiculous lol
Screenshot of the book, The Woman in the Zoot suit. The background is white and in the center, is the cover of the book. It’s sepia colored picture of three women in zoot suit pants, a police officer is standing behind them. The title is at the top, the Woman in the Zoot Suit. The first three letters are in blue and the rest are yellow. At the bottom, the author, Catherine S. Ramirez, is written in blue.
Every time I need a book for podcast research, I check my library and they had one out of two I was looking for! Placed a hold.
Very unsurprised to read about podcasting’s diversity problem. Of the top 100 podcasts in 2024, 64% were white and 74% men, true crime is where women dominated but of those 90% were white

We got rid of a bunch of streaming services and started going to our local video rental store once a week. It’s been so fun seeing what the kids pick out! Today one chose Goosebumps: Attack of the Jack-O’-Lanterns and the other chose the Smurfs: the Legend of Smurfy Hollow

OMG! Mychal did it. Anyone who first caught this wonderful human gaining an audience on TikTok knew there was something special happening. What an incredible journey and story. Promoting reading and libraries is so damn important right now, and I can't think of a better ambassador.
So sorry for your loss 😢

I've seen people calling for the boycott of products from El Salvador & maybe some of you don't know.
There have been mass protests against the president since the start of his regime. Salvadorans have been subject to arbitrary arrests, state violence and mass incarceration for a long time.
“I think pretty much every legislator in Olympia knows him. He’s a serious young man who really wants to fight for justice, and he knows how to express himself and he’s tireless. He is like 24/7 on immigrant rights and farmworker rights.”
