Saw Springsteen last PM in Portland. Pep rally & religious ceremony… oh, & concert. Often I started to sing, & my voice quavered. ‘We’ll get through this.’ “Hold the ones you love close tonight, then tomorrow, do or say something about this.”

They refilled our cups w/ joy in the meantime.

Took my 1951 Esquire/Deluxe out Saturday for 75th birthday (neck 01/26/51; amp circuit early ‘51). Step-down transformer for amp (110v). Princeton wasn’t needed. Koll DuoGlide for songs w/Bigsby. Just bent the Esquire neck most of the PM. Had her since ‘69, & she’s as reliable as ever.
