Delighted to be nominated for our 13th time. Congrats to all the other nominees, and especially to @scottedelman.bsky.social, who I think joins this list for the first time. (The rest of us seem to be repeat offenders.)
We’re back, with some new recommendations.
OK, while @locusmag.bsky.social does pay me to write reviews, I still contributed to this year's fundraiser, which is pretty close to being over tomorrow morning, still short of goal. Without Locus, I'd have to sell my reviews in leaflets door-to-door or something.

The Locus fundraiser also ends soon - well worth your support
Thanks, Kelly!
Thanks, Ian, and there was even a literal blast, as we were (barely) able to watch a satellite rocket launch from our rental.
I had completely forgotten that SH reprinted this back in 2013, and thanks again to Niall for calling attention to it.
Some generous birthday wishes from Niall Harrison, which reminded me again that these three book-review collections look as good as they do because of the cover art by the wonderful Judith Clute. (The cover for Evaporating Genres was by Agnes Dodart.)
Much appreciated, Niall, and thanks for keeping this whole eccentric tradition alive and lively over at @briardenebooks.bsky.social

For the record, my favorite in this collection is the title story, which is also probably the wildest.

An excellent finale to the Advent series.
Certainly among the most entertaining chats we've had in this series, as anyone who has heard Ursula would suspect.
We're in the home stretch, and these guys were a lot of fun.
