You might enjoy this free short story, written and read by me. A little on the chilling side, perhaps. youtu.be/t6422LD1sfQ?...

Returned here today to escape the plague of hatred and irrationality on the Other Place. Delighted to find one or two more followers. Still not sure who is here who used to be there.
Religious exclusivism, or the idea that only one religion can be true, fuels hatred and conflict in the modern world. Certain objections to religious pluralism, together with associated defences of exclusivism are flawed. I defend a moderate religious pluralism. doi.org/10.1080/1744...

I'm sure that there are already splendid education exchanges going on here. Trouble is, I don't know where they are, or how to join them. Sad..
My open access article 'Knowing and Learning: From Hirst to Ofsted' is still going strong. Very satisfying. The 1st time anything academic I've done has had such a big readership. Here's a link to the short video that gives you a taste of what's there:

If you still haven't read this... it's open access! doi.org/10.1093/jope...
Education people - still not read this? It's open access, and might positively affect how you think about some key issues in education and schooling: academic.oup.com/jope/article...
@ruthswailes.bsky.social good - found you on here - trying to find my way around, and to discover who is here now - a feeling of brain fog at the moment...
Following extensive debates about 'cold calling' in school classrooms on Twitter/X, I'm writing something about this, either for an academic paper and/or for a vlog. Do students have the right to refuse the teacher's attempt to 'cold call' them. Any thoughts? Some teachers say (emphatically) not!
Can't find a way of advertising my book on here in the way one could in the Other Place. Maybe advertising it never got any sales anyway.. www.amazon.co.uk/Neuralnets-C...
Thank you very much - I'm sure this info will prove helpful.
New here also. Sorry - can't recommend who to follow because I don't know who else who's here who used to be on Twitter/X..
That's very kind. Thanks. Here's hoping for better social media things.
First post on here - I'm told there are many splendid former edu-tweeters present. Twitter/X always had toxic eruptions, but like others, hesitated to move because of history and friends still there. Now, however, things there have gone too far. Don't know how Blue Sky will go! Here's hoping!
