Current #ttrpg #brainfart musing: build a cyberdeck that's just filled with TTRPG pdfs and resources, designed to be in-session usable.

Adventures, hexcrawls, random tables, character options, etc. All offline usable.

That's a hefty dream.

This came in time with me trying Netrunner for cyberpunk vibes, and also looking for action-drama game via wuxia genre. I will be looking into this

Running two different Root RPG campaigns simultaneously is as draining as it sounds.

But it is fun to generate the woodland, and make plans behind the scenes 😉

Here's two Woodland maps of each campaign's current set. Lake map players are already making ruckus. Autumn map players just starting.

I'm always fascinate by Pokemon world, where title is a catch all term for monsters, spirits, ghosts, and gods.

Somehow humanity has established ways to pet and train them to be companions. And eventually technology to catch them and "lobotomize" moves out of them.

Because of how "videogamey" it got designed, D&D 4E works well in PVPs. Played thru a lot of gladiatorial or arena battle scenarios both as player and GM when I played 4E before.

I'd reckon games that leaned to 4E stat design would also be good candidates.

I intend to post my #ttrpgwrapped for 2025, but I still have a couple of holiday games I wanna include in the count

Hopefully before New Year, but definitely after New Year.

I also have "the ex I still call" rpg in my bag this year. But I'm just using her to make others play indie games, I swear!

Bring out a Box of Doom, but it's just a bowl or cardboard box where you roll your reaction or wandering monster rolls. They never roll to it.

I'll be running my space-faring game, A Goon's Guide to the Galaxy, and having players do sand squid catching in a Desert Moon of Karth-based adventure!

For context of how bad my laptop is currently, see video with sounds.

It does this erratically, sometimes making this sound for 30 whole minutes until it "goes away". A restart/shutdown would not clear it.

I have cleaned them from dust. They are not overheating nor spinning too fast.

A Punk Lost in Time - Mythic Bastionland x Eco Mofos, Part 1 Playing Punks in Mythic Bastionland

Two games I've recently enjoyed are Mythic Bastionland and Eco Mofos. So I decided to combine the 2. For Part 1, I've put an Eco Mofos Punk in Mythic Bastionland.
