I stand corrected.
I still don't care who Jeffrey Rath is nor do I believe that his use of the words "Constitution of Canada" are not dripping with assumption about what's actually in it.
As a Canadian in Mark Carney's Canada, I just want to suggest that not too much hope be placed here.
Who is Jeffrey Rath and I don't care.
Also, the "Constitution" of Canada is called the BNA Act. Anyone who cares at all about what's in it knows better.
To be fair, there is no perfect candidate.
That industry analyst breathed a sigh of relief once they knew their name hadn't been published.
I want off now.
THE FIRST RESPONSE IS A BOT!
Well, hello, lost and spiritually-seeking person who needs warmth and clarity in the challenging moral environment of today's world. Perhaps you would benefit from being told everything you want to hear from your very own Jesus-bot? Dont worry - tell it all the things for which you need forgiveness.
Grew up in the church? More like threw up in the church.
Grew up in the church and PERMISSION GRANTED.
The thing that bothers me is that the NDP sits on its hands. We saw it in Ontario with Andrea Horwath and we really can't afford that. They need a social media campaign that hits and Lewis needs to get comfortable in front of the cameras.
Avi Lewis' team needs to hit while the iron is white hot and begging for it.
Cuts everywhere. The tax bill isn't the big one, @mark-carney.bsky.social - it's the price gouging at the grocery store, the pump, and for rent. Prices have to fall or pays have to rise, and you've seen fit to cut services which means job losses. Tried-and-failed Conservative cuts never work.
Would it have been worse under Pollievre? Maybe.
If anything, this is Avi's opportunity and I hope we see some serious contention with some serious ideas that get discussed in the breakroom. Bikes and rent under Jagmeet weren't the answer.
Fahrenheit 451 has always been more apt than 1984.
Madness. Madness and stupidity.
It's like the cereal aisle - all colour and flash where the kids are.
Also this is everywhere in the gaming industry. Microtransactions, season passes, subscriptions, expansions, sequels, remasters, prereleases, pre-orders, public testing.
And thats just the customer experience.
I remember when the cable companies would turn on extra channels out of nowhere for free fishing for people to get used to them and think it was worth it.
I can't hear "installment plan" without thinking of how you can pay via a plan for medical bills in the states. And some yankee said it was a great idea in a thread about implementing single payer.
I have enough "Moi" points for almost a day's budget of groceries. That's taken me about a year or so to accrue, probably more.
Meanwhile, Domino's has every 7th or 10th or so pizza free.
Given the midterms are still 7 months away and things will be looking grim, I look forward to what the US people will allow.

It insults you more than it does us.
Now, I know you're not going to stop pushing it on us. It's your job and you're going to keep juicing this gig until your head's on the block. It's what we're all doing.
I'm just asking that if you know this is all inevitable, just like we do, then please stop pretending you're excited.
That's your EA - not you. And if it is you, then that's not impressive.
An AI could do your job too, as much as you don't want to admit it, and you represent some of the greatest opportunities for payroll savings that an AI could make.
Don't think the shareholders wouldnt sell you up the river.
You're not very good at your job.
You engage in corporate speak despite the fact that you *only* hire educated people - people who can hear through it.
No one really knows what you do because we don't see results from you. The motivational emails you send out come from your "officeof" account.
You would be asking me to teach an AI how to interact with regulatory portals and management software. That's not a skill of mine. I don't have the time to develop that skill. You need (and pay) me to do other things.
If you want me to do it anyway, understand that I don’t trust you.
