Went a little better on the 5k this morning, 25 seconds compared to last month here. Part of the @gostlouis.bsky.social marathon, also included the half and 10k, which I'll consider doing next year.

Better seat for tonight's Cards game, though more expensive ($55 resale vs. $6 last night from a special). The home team with the clean sheet 3-nil, even the series against my Mets. Would love to come back for a daytime weekend game this season.

First time attending a Cards game, with tomorrow marking two years since moving here from Chicago! My Mets won 4-2. Be back tomorrow with a seat some rows behind home plate.

Last game of the Blues Weekend Mini Plan, which likely would be the last Blues game for me this season. Blues won 5-1 over the Leafs, which most importantly means $1 tacos at HotShots Sports Bar tomorrow!

Placards provided at tonight's @stlcitysc.com game to honor the wife of Eduard Löwen, who lost her battle with cancer earlier this month. There was a moment of silence in her memory before kickoff. The 10th minute represented Löwen's club number - it was very quiet during that minute! #AllForCITY

The 48th Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade Run in St. Louis this morning, my 3rd 5k and the best one so far, jogged most of the way with a walk in the middle for water. Finished 2:30 faster than my first.

Blues game tonight vs. the Oilers with many visitors wearing the orange & blue of Edmonton, especially the Connor McDavid 97. He scored the second Oilers goal to lead 2-0, but the Blues tied late in the 3rd period and won in OT on a Robert Thomas goal with less than 10 seconds left!

First Blues game attended since the Olympic break and it was against the New Jersey Devils with the last two who saw the puck last Sunday prominent tonight with Jordan Binnington starting for the Blues and Jack Hughes number 86 on the ice and off with most Devils fans in the stands. Devils won 3-1.

In the US and Canada, certain sporting events take a back seat to everything else in life. The Super Bowl and USA vs. Canada for gold in men’s Olympic Ice Hockey are the top two, even for those who watch no sports.

Was referring to the lack of posts and comments about curling from those at home. The hockey game is the closest to the Super Bowl in which everything takes a back seat. Heck even Arsenal and Spurs fans in both countries probably care less about today’s NLD!

Looked like very few Canadian and American curlers were watching this for one huge obvious reason. Bet that would happen even if it was Canada vs. USA, men’s or women’s curling.

Missed watching the men's curling gold medal game as I attended the @stlcitysc.com home opener vs. Charlotte FC. Ended in a 1-1 draw. Had an extra jacket inside my winter one as it's just above freezing and felt even colder, to where most of us at the lower level stood the whole time! #AllForCITY

As The Golf Channel has one PL match on the final day, a swap with their crew would be more appropriate. The NBC PL crew would likely know more about golf than hockey and those who couldn't stand Brandel Chamblee may find that a relief!

First concert of 2026 last night at The Pageant with Opeth and Katatonia.

First time watching an NHL shootout in person, resulting in the Blues winning over the Tampa Bay Lightning, only needing one goal after a 2-2 tie after overtime.

First Blues game attended in 2026 and they remained undefeated this year with a 2-nil win over the Habs! Jordan Binnington, recently named to the Canadian Olympic team, with the clean sheet. There was a shorthanded goal by Robert Thomas and they killed off a 90-second 5-on-3 power play.

Blues with 3-2 home win at the I-55 Derby. At least a quarter of the arena was wearing Blackhawks red. Entertaining game with goals, a couple of fights, Towelman counting to 3 and tossing some towels, a nice 1st intermission with some 6U players and unfortunately was Whamageddon'd! 🤪

Got to watch the final performance by Foxing at The Pageant before they take an extended break. Opening for them were Lobby Boxer and Greet Death.

1-nil to the Blues against the Utah Mammoth tonight with a clean sheet to Joel Hofer and Dylan Holloway scoring the lone goal. Survived a 5-minute major power play after Alexey Toropchenko was tossed out for kneeing. Justin Faulk was honored for recently playing his 1000th NHL game.

First of consecutive days Blues games with 4-3 win over the Ottawa Senators, goals exchanged between the two teams. Andy Cohen and West Wilson were not only present for the game but also participated in a contest and were interviewed by the presenters.

Back at the Wildey in Edwardsville for the 2nd night of The History of Renaissance. Being on the right side allowed me to watch more of John Galgano of IZZ and Geoff Langley of The Twenty Committee. Andy Powell of Wishbone Ash appeared for Ashes Are Burning, his band performing here Sunday.

First of two nights at The Wildey Theatre in Edwardsville for the History of Renaissance, featuring Annie Haslam and Jim McCarty giving a talk about the band's history, then the music of not only Renaissance but also Jim's solo work including Illusion that featured other former members.

Not a good night for the Blues, losing 4-1 to the Vegas Golden Knights. Blues scored a late goal to prevent the shutout but many already left halfway in the 3rd after the 4th Vegas goal. Wore the Blues 3rd jersey from last season, bought last summer as it was discounted - may have been bad luck??? 🤪

First of 4 Blues games I'll be at this month. Tonight vs. the Kraken, the visitors scored the tying goal at 3 with less than 2 seconds left in regulation, then won early in OT. Plenty of Kraken fans at the game, maybe working for Boeing here, a major employer in the area.

Made the trip to Cincinnati for last night's @stevehacketthq.bsky.social show at Taft Theatre, where I saw Beat this time last year. First time watching Nick D'Virgilio on drums for Hackett so wore a 2017 @bigbigtrain.bsky.social hoodie as I didn't think there was one who went to the UK for them.

Between watching the Arsenal game with @gatewaygooners.bsky.social and the City2 game, rather than go home across the river, watched this movie at AMC in Clayton. About Bruce during the recording of the Nebraska album, which I received the deluxe edition last Friday, my first ever Springsteen album!

Second consecutive STL City2 game, MLS Next Pro Western Conference semifinal vs. MN United FC2. Was raining heavily the whole time so watched from the concourse. Home team lost 2-nil, ending my visits to Energizer Park for 2025. Plan to attend as many @stlcitysc.com games for 2026. #AllForCITY

Back at Energizer Park for @stlcity2.bsky.social playoff game vs. Ventura County FC in MLS Next Pro. Those who ran in the 5k this morning were given 4 tickets for tonight's game. CITY2 advances with a 3-nil win and was more enjoyable to watch than a typical MLS game as it seemed faster. #AllForCITY
