also I have been reading more and spending less time on my phone and whew it feels goooood. started the Broken Earth trilogy by n.k. Jemisin, easily one of the best things I've ever read, sucked me in so hard and I blew thru the entire first book in one long weekend

also tho in the same breath I'm way too Taurus and my physical conditions/surroundings have to be ideal for me to even access creative headspace (or maybe that's just the story I tell myself idk)
