The main riff i have had for a long time but could never work into a song. From Death Metal bands to Hard Rock, it just never fit, until I was trying to work on the song following the climatic 8th song, 'Wrath'.

Deep dive into 'The Wizard'
Envy, how to get a sound for a song that screamed Envy? I don't know why, but the idea of early 70's prog & psychedelic rock seemed to fit with organ leading the song like the early greats.

The idea of a narration was all producer Don Douglass' idea. He even added effects and changed octaves to get that old Vincent Price sound! Just brilliant 👏
