I used to be an avid reader, but not so much anymore. I'm honestly fearing reading in my genre as I'm writing my book. I don't want to accidentally absorb ideas, making it less authentic. Any other #writers with this problem? #BookSky

I would say FFX, but I also think FF16 would be good for newer gamers who are more used to modern graphics and the fight system is absolutely incredible on 16. The older representation of 10 and it's incredible narrative is good for people who want authentic storytelling.

There's nothing wrong with having a sad story. The problem I had during my six year long hiatus is I couldn't see a light at the end. It caused me to get help and now I'm back to writing sad stories with empowerment.

Hey #BookSky am I the only person who is tired of male love interests being possessive, abusive and cold? Shit like ACOTAR doesn't do it for me for that reason. I want more authors to write more men with substance and hearts of gold. So I'm doing it myself.

It was. Weird and uncomfortable at parts but it was the good kind. Robert Eggers is incredibly underrated.

I know the feeling and honestly? I've found that it's for the best. If it deters from your original plan, it's probably for a good reason and the characters have a life of their own!

As an author, what is your hill to die upon?

Mine is that fantasy men, especially the love interests, need to have more or a personality than being possessive and borderline abusive. I want to read about a strong heart of gold. Not the equivalent of a hemmheroid.
