As an autistic person myself, it's made for Millenial parents (I am one, the Millenial part) to shut their Mario autism kids up, so I totally get the voice cast and why it's just heavy on references and nothing else.

That's honestly what I expect out of those movies. I saw the first one on a plane coming home from Japan. That and GOTG3 made good planeride home viewing and that was it. The woman who voices Peach sounds bored and Chris Pratt as Mario is so bad it's good. Just odd choices in voice, but w/e .
