She's Gotta Have It.

Well, I saw it a $1 theater in 1986; two of us white kids, so you have to consider the circumstance.

About the only time I ever remember looking at my watch halfway through!

I collected stamps as a kid and there were, like, sixty thousand Magyar stamps out there.

Be honest. Could you jump into a config.sys file and know how to operate it?

I don't think this is at all anything worthy of discussing.

So what if 98% of everyone driving today can't drive a stick. Do you also run DOS batch commands today? Are we inferior because we *don't *?

A clutch was important to know in 1977. Irrelevant in 2027.

I recall visiting the Fort St. Vrain nuclear reactor in Colorado in the early 80's, and they showed one uranium pellet being identical to several train loads of coal.

I'm still all in for nuclear, along with all in with PV, wind, and BESS.

I wonder, as an engineer, if 100 kilograms of 60% enriched U235 uranium can somehow be diluted back to the 3% needed for fuel. So they, presumably, should be able to create 2,000 kilograms of nuclear reactor fuel with that.

The Middle East is full of religious extremists who blindly revere evil men.

Oops! I meant *The United States* not The Middle East.

It'll be interesting indeed to see how crypto payments to Iran to allow passage is going to work.

I'll bet all my crypto holdings that Trump's sons are paying Iran in their own crypto holdings to open the SofH.

It's incredibly rare to see any painting with a vehicle. It's always a cute street with vendors selling dreamcatchers, a babbling brook w/ a jumping trout, or a vista overlooking a valley, but never forget that motorized vehicles got that artist there to paint the fucking thing in the first place.

I did hear shit tonight about why we gave up bombing for two weeks without Iran saying "here, sir, here's *all* our enriched U235."

It wasn't about any fucking nuclear threat; Israel and Trump just wanted to wave their dicks in the air.

And they did. And still are.

I take it you make your own ghee.

Ghee is almost as impervious to nature as honey. The two edibles that can survive millenia!

Annoying dork Elon Musk made it deeply uncool to get a thrill from space travel.

Thank you, NASA, for fixing that with Artemis II.

If even one chick survives this "relentless, unmerciful, overwhelming deluge of"...normal rain, well, that that one chick will produce offspring is good enough for survival of her species.

Let alone five chicks, or a baker's dozen.

Why would *any* mother bird expend calories she already doesn't have after feeding them to prevent a few drops of H2O from hitting already waterproof chicks' feathers? To save 1 bird of 11?

Seems pointless, biologically speaking. But we mammals love to project our mammalianishness on other classes!

2 weeks ago 0 0 2 0

It's impressive, but if the chicks can all survive a downpouring, which they all most certainly can, there's no biological incentive to expend calories to shield them, no?

Israel will not stop attacking and bombing Iran over the next 14 days, not at all.

They require regime change. They will keep attacking infrastructure until they get it, they didn't go this far not to.

2 weeks ago 3 0 0 0

So there’s no regime change, we lift all sanctions against them going back decades, they retain missile and drone capabilities, they control the strait and can charge tolls, and keep their enriched uranium. So much for “unconditional surrender.”

And! Iran gets to impose $2 million on every Iranian ship *they* allow passage? Sounds like...an...Iranian...tariff...

Well played, Ayatollah.

I don't recall, but I could be wrong, any Omani (sic) port being bombed in the last four to six weeks.

You have to remember that we had monitored fiber optic comms to verify compliance; we *had* the means.

It was just the Graham's, the Levin's, the Netanyahu's who persevered with this fucking singular president. Got their wish, and we bombed.

I'm now working in Northern California for PG&E, in the Humboldt region. I love it, I'm here in Scotia now.

I travel here, and it's expensive to do so, but in February I bought a *far* more efficient 36mpg rig.

Good choice.
