Now look, I'm certainly not *criticizing* him, I think that level of devotion to a role is admirable. The point is, though, that's a *role,* a *fictional person,* not something that can be realistically achieved and maintained while still being healthy.
The actor playing Sanji in Netflix's live-action adaptation of "One Piece," Taz Skylar, stands shirtless in a tent lifting a massive weight. An oxygen mask covers his mouth, with a plastic tube connecting it to an oxygen tank off-screen.
And even *with* all that studio funding, past a certain point, looking that ripped requires you to do ridiculously unhealthy things. As someone else mentioned, Sanji's actor didn't eat and drank little to no water before he filmed his shirtless scene. And here's him between takes:
