I just finished the next chapter of my web serial fantasy story. I've jumped from 2,500-3,000 words per chapter to just over 5,000 words in this one! Apparently I got into it a bit more!

Do you ever just have that random writing epiphany? Yesterday whilst carrying out some maintenance in work, in a cage atop a noisy machine, a thread came into my mind, I pulled at it, and concocted a grand history for my fantasy series that kept going. I had to jot bits down on a notepad!
Today's choice of music is "The Warning" because god damn they're good.

Alrighty... it's time to write again! I've had a few days off as I've actually had to work 😂 and it's getting busy with family things around Christmas! But I'm still aiming to complete my first draft by the end of the year!!

Update on my #WIP: I managed another 1,300 words yesterday, so I'm well on course to hit my 30,000 mark on 31 December! 105 words a day will see me there. Then it'll be a case of skimming back through to clean things up, and draft 1 will be complete! #writingcommunity #writerslift
Honestly, apprehensive 😂 I'm not good at finishing stories and wrapping it all up! I end up going back and re-doing so much, but I'm determined to wrap it up this year. Overcome that apprehension!
I'm excited to finish it. It started as a short story, 4,000 words, and has unintentionally grown to something much better that I had to plan and re-evaluated. So I'm feeling good about nearly finishing my first draft, considering I had nothing a few months ago!
