Asked Jaden McDaniels what he likes about the way the Wolves have defended in this series. "We're relentless, we pick up full court every play. We're super physical on defense. That's really all we do, just try to tire them out."

At the end of games, we know how Denver wants to play it. On offense: The Jokic-Murray two-man game On defense: Put two on Ant to get the ball out of his hands Donte DiVincenzo blew both of those things up at the end of Game 2.

I think Jokić didn’t shoot the floater because Ant was the low man and loading up to jump with him.

Rudy Gobert was asked what went into him stopping Nikola Jokic in isolation three or four times at the end of the game. "I was lucky. A top 3 defender can not do that. So I was lucky."

Donte DiVincenzo on the Wolves' communication right now. "I think we're the most vocal in our huddles right now. Which is the best time of year to be most vocal... We just know that it's a long game but it's also a long series."

Ant and Naz both look very much not 100%. And Gobert just walked back to the locker room (don't know if that's for sure injury related).

Denver seems thrilled to hammer that high pick and pop with Jokic and Murray until the Wolves show the ability to present some resistance. Again, Murray is getting tons of space as the Wolves struggle to navigate the Jokic screens.
Original post
David Adelman also weighed in on the officiating conversation — pointing to some of Murray’s free throws being for technicals and flagrants.

.@ChristopherHine followed up this answer from Chris Finch on flopping by asking about how drawing fouls is coached -- specifically with Anthony Edwards -- to which Finch had another length answer about officiating. An answer Finch started off with a stern, "Ant doesn't flop".

Chris Finch called Jamal Murray's 16 free throws in Game 1 "a head-scratcher". He was asked tonight before Game about Murray's free throw total, to which he had a long answer about officiating in the NBA today. Finch ended his answer with, "maybe we ought to start flopping too".
