Until public schools can do a better job educating kids, offering programs for advanced students & keeping kids safe, than school choice should be the law of the land. Most private/religious schools have better outcomes at less cost per student. They fund education, not unions.

There is a story on the local news in my city right now about a woman who waited 3 hours for police response on a domestic violence call. While this may be an outlier, it shows what happens when you farm out your personal safety to others.

We protect politicians, judges, celiberties, concerts, rallies, etc. with guns. Why not schools. If you look at the writings of mass shooters, they have almost all written about finding soft targets. We can't protect schools by leaving them defenseless & wishing danger away.
