Notably low I expect, under a particularly strict Stalinist regime, hardly a dictatorship of the proletariat.
Wretched capitalism.
I am inclined to agree, and that perhaps comes into focus as people age / acquire chronic illness?

If F*rage gets in there will there be an Oily?
Agreed, irrespective as to whether one supports Starmer (and I don’t) it is beyond doubt that they are after him - I think I counted 8 pieces criticising Starmer on the BBC News website yesterday - there was nothing like like level of attack against the Tory PM’s (maybe Truss)
The most morally corrupt DOJ in US history.
Starmer is in many ways weak, but as you say, he should stay for stabilities sake - but the media bloodhounds are after him like they went after Rayner (but largely ignored Tice and F*rages Clacton house). I suspect the coming elections will seal his longer term fate.
Reform are repulsive and inhumane - it will be their downfall.
They conveniently forget that the decent people of this country has raised £billions to support all of those who are vulnerable in society, not only in the UK, but right across the globe.
This is an absolute scandal, as well as a terrible way to treat young health professionals - what is the point of training people when there is no prospect of employment.
It is a long-term strategic disaster.

Fortunately, never going to happen, Reform would have to have a signifcant majority to enact that.
👏👏👏 exactly, this is the media right driving performative politics, because they small the blood.
F*rage has a 'lack of curiosity' about every single Reform person who stands for selection / election - as usual his is a high performing hypocrite.
Here we go, the Tory/Reformagraph running nonsense culture wars again.

Spot on, this troubles me daily.
Almost everything we argue about is a substitute for the thing we should be arguing about: the immense wealth & power of an oligarchic class, which captures governments, ruins lives and wrecks the living planet.
This class redirects our rage at scapegoats. To resist its lies is to resist its power.

Meta just paid the lowest effective federal tax rate in its history.
Thanks to tax breaks and loopholes, it avoided $13.7B in 2025 federal income taxes.
But now it's planning to lay off 10% of its global workforce (8,000 people) by May 20 — with more job cuts later this year.
Trickle down hoax.
