Waterfall from SDR++ showing 13.8 MHz to 16 MHz with noise but no birdies that are varying in frequency constantly.

Yesterday evening I removed some cabling from my SDR set up and put a DIY 1:1 balun in where the active loop outside feeds into its Bias T. I have effectively eliminated all the flying birdies. Everything left is either from the Raspberry Pi or the SDR itself. Win.

Waterfall tuned to EAM "Sky King" on 1.175 and what appears to be a birdie (internal SDR/receiver noise) showing up around 11.06 MHz.

I moved the Raspberry PI running my SDR/RTL-TCP shortwave to my Solar panel and now the birdies are really happy! They're flying around. Ooof.

If this is Radio Republica broadcasting to Cuba from Issoudun in France on 9.49 MHz AM, they have a transmitter problem I can only describe as "WTF that sounds evil."
