Every time I see the stack of cookies on this box of cooking paper out of the corner of my eye, pareidolia turns it into a dang severed foot

All the ones near me seem to have rebranded, but I noticed a subtle red Big Boy character logo on one the other day. Maybe it’s mostly Kansai 🤷

What’s wild is I had no idea I was replying to someone who had any knowledge of or experience living in Japan, and was just replying within my own frame of reference for restaurant rebrands. ビックリした🤯

Idk, last year Big Boy restaurants in Japan ditched the Big Boy character and went with a steer to match their steakhouse rebrand and I was kinda bummed

I always find it interesting that on the border between Kyoto and Osaka Prefectures, the Katsura, Uji, and Kizu rivers converge to become the Yodo river. And further upstream, the Uji river starts out as Seta River, draining out of Lake Biwa.
