😔 Had a feeling all day that I misunderstood this. Didn’t know about this band and after 3 songs I can safely say I didn’t need to know. Couldn’t get thru 1 of them. For me now, I bristle anytime I hear Jesse Wells. On the upside, I did listen to Kiss’ Destroyer today and thoroughly enjoyed it. 😁

Is it just Destroyer or all of Kiss for you?

“They’ve got the guns, but we’ve got the numbers” is a line that’s been on my mind lately. One of my fav bands.

Though not a Counting Crows fan, their music did help me through one of the worst nights of my life, circa 1994.

Well, for me personally, it’s not Jesse Welles who has more in common with Greta Van Fleet (imo). It’s also not Mumford and Sons. I call that greeting card folk. It’s got to be the peoples music of the time, so a lot today that might sound like folk is more of a special interest music. I’m v picky.

Went down to the 2019 County Bike Fair today. It was a casual affair. Modern Folk Trio set the mood for all that maneuvering and jumping. Enjoyed ripe summer tomatoes and a hawthorn buckboard ride. Was hoping William Katt would show, but he never did.
