Yeah, Michael’s armband looks like part of his jacket, and it doesn’t have a white piece attached to it.

Jeans, t-shirt and sneakers guy here. Bad idea to wear an armband in that color and that width

“Only weak men get sick, we do 100 pushups a day”

Dumbest timeline.

Yeah, the speed of churning out mock ups is a “solved” problem:

Design systems and Figma libraries helped with reusable elements and maintaining consistency.

The delay has always been in designing the flow, which is more about information architecture and UX, and then convincing stakeholders

By design. Project 2025 is a blueprint to install the Heritage Foundations Christofascist regime + The Nerd Reich billionaires want as little regulations as possible to make more money, because that’s where they get their self worth from.

I'm still mad my friend blew up my Sony Amplifier at a houseparty 30 years ago. I loved the look of these things.

Same...

I love looking at their design aesthetic and even tried to replicate some of it digitally, to varying degrees of success.

I also have a "cyberdeck" idea lying around in my brain that I want to build someday, but I'm not (yet?) very good with electronics.

I use sections to group flows, usually.

Never really thought about putting sections in sections…

The point is that you showed up, and, as one of the American People that did, added to the crowd count of people that have issues with the current administration. That is the protesters’ united goal.

Plus, wearing a suit? That’s a great look, undermining “unemployed” or “hippie” accusations.

In Luxembourg the studies showed that running fare discount programs (including marketing) and having fare enforcement had a higher cost than just making all public transport free to use and funding it with taxes.

Hmm, sort of.

The sentences LLMs output usually come close enough to facts for it to seem “intelligent”, but they are essentially statistically probable word suggestions. (Hence: hallucinations)

Trek’s computers use natural language only as a UI, not to approximate probable facts.

Every time any of the software I use updates, I go through a thorough sweep of anything AI related that I can turn off. And more and more time I have to turn shit off AGAIN.

Verhoeven is amazing at world building. Like you said, it’s the little details in the background that hint at the bigger world outside the main story.

Total Recall has it too.

It used to be the main selling point for Cable TV too.

Not really surprising, tbh.

I use it to hide my e-mail from advertisers.

RIP Sam Keith

He still directed those films though. Not the performances, obviously, but he knew what story he was telling with those two.

I’ve noticed in some games the zoom depends on the speed the character is moving. With Fast movement the camera zooms out a bit so the player has more time to react.

Not as far ar I could tell, but Teams on the Mac is a little more limited than the Windows version in places

That is probably deliberate. If you can run MacOs on an iPad, why get a MacBook?

I guess we’ll find out if the AT protocol works as intended.

That would be a first, I think.
