Which pipe is your favorite? Any tips for mastering pipes in #R, #Python, or #Unix? 💻

And for Python lovers (I am too ❤️! ), there is >> from plydata, a Tidyverse like library for pandas !!!!

R's native pipe |> (introduced in v4.1.0) is faster and built-in, but %>% remains my go-to for its flexibility and Tidyverse vibes! 💪 My hands are conditioned anyway !😅😩

Fast forward to #rstats ,where %>% (from magrittr) became a beloved tool for chaining operations on data. Its name even nods to Magritte’s "This is not a pipe!"

Yeah, R programmation Is a mix of Jokes and Culture !😎

Did you know the Unix pipe | was introduced in 1973 by Doug McIlroy? This game-changer lets commands pass output as input to the next, like:
cat file.txt | grep "keyword" | sort

Anyone in #rstats world seen a successful Quarto render implementation in Shiny? (think downloadable reports)

After weeks of frustration I think my best option is switching to R Markdown. At an impasse with Quarto CLI issues…
