Franziska Koch outsprints Marianne Vos to win the 6th Paris-Roubaix Femmes. The German champ took on Vos and PFP, one of the sport's prolific teammate pairings, in a 2-on-1 finale and came out on top.
I'm gutted for Vos though. She might be the GOAT, but she hasn't won this Monument. #ParisRoubaix
For those new to Paris-Roubaix, cyclists typically ride along the road edges to briefly avoid the cobbles or use the smoother surface for an attack.
I'm livid! An unaware fan reached over the rope to clap, causing a hard crash for Lucinda Brand! #ParisRoubaix
ASO tried to claim that “holding the women's race on Sunday ensures better TV visibility, with viewers benefiting from two finishes on the same day, just a few hours apart.”
But that can't be true if you can't even watch most of the race. #ParisRoubaix
It's ridiculous that the ASO quickly relegated that Paris-Roubaix Femmes to a sideshow of the men's race once Zwift decided to cut its title sponsorship. #ParisRoubaix

Okay, it just wasn't me feeling this way then.

Paris-Roubaix Femmes is well underway. Visma's Pauline Ferrand-Prévot and Marianne Vos, SD Worx's Blanka Vos and FDJ's Franziska Koch are the leading group.
I really wish that they ran the women's race on Saturday like last year. #ParisRoubaix
WOUT WINS! Van Aert beats Pogačar and wins the 123rd Paris-Roubaix! It's his first Monument win since 2020 Milano-Sanremo.
Pogačar finishes 2nd at Roubaix for the 2nd year in a row. He misses out on a "Tadej Slam," holding all five Monument titles at the same time. #ParisRoubaix
Pogačar tried to attack and spun his rear wheel! Van Aert hangs on!
Carrefour de l'Arbre is such an apropos name for this sector. It tends to be the crossroads of the day. It's either decided there or headed to a velodrome sprint finish. #ParisRoubaix
Mathieu van der Poel's no-good, very bad day nearly got even worse. #ParisRoubaix
It definitely would be a show!
Van Aert and Pogačar aren't playing games today! #ParisRoubaix
Wout launches an attack off the front, but Tadej holds on to the Visma rider's rear wheel. #ParisRoubaix
A puncture for Wout van Aert! Just after another Pogačar bike change. #ParisRoubaix might be infamous for being brutal on bicycles, but today is just chaos. I love it!
Meltdown on the Arenberg! The legendary 5-star pavé sector has claimed a front-runner. Mathieu van der Poel not only suffered a puncture, but couldn't ride on with a teammate's bike. His hopes to win #ParisRoubaix are essentially done!
Drama for Pogačar! The race's first big twist as the world champion suffers a puncture in his effort to complete a career box set of Monuments. #ParisRoubaix
I'm awake, and there's 125km to go in Paris-Roubaix.
Definitely! The national average price per lb is up 24% ($1.81 to $2.25) compared to this time last year. fred.stlouisfed.org/series/APU00...
It's really disappointing because volunteers (Les Amis de Paris Roubaix) are the ones maintaining the public roads on the course for most of the year.

People are out here stealing cobblestones.
Paris-Roubaix (my favorite bike race) is tomorrow and is well-known for its brutal cobbled sections.
People are now stealing cobbles as souvenirs from the most famous sections, leaving potholes behind.

Integrity has returned! May it be the first of many successful Artemis missions!
I mean it works for the most capitalistic sports institution on the planet, the National Football League.
I'd love to see a Fox Business host try to explain that EKG wasn't a stock ticker they were seeing on-screen.
lol, baseball just be like that sometimes. Nobody bats 1.000.
(...but goddammit I wanna bat 1.000 when I play the Show)
Montauk isn't even that great compared to the rest of the Hamptons.
For real! For centuries, a country's stature was largely tied to the size of its population. When Europe was still shaking off the legacy of serfdom, there was a place that the masses actually wanted to move to.
It sucks to say that Barber was pretty dull... and it wasn't because Alex Palou won again. I felt like nothing happened until the last third of the race. #IndyCar
Kirkwood and Rahal had a little smooch on the opening lap. #IndyCar
Nobody told me that Formula 1 discovered time travel.
