Installation of "On Guard for Thee" went perfectly! 32, high school students each made a 40"x28", Canadian flag themed self-portrait. When hung together, they create a 16'x20' mural that resembles a huge Canadian flag! Canada's cultural mosaic is proudly on display by these small town kids!

Proud of my students! "On Guard for Thee" is set to be unveiled next week! The Royal Canadian Legion supported this patriotic project with a donation! When assembled, these 30 self-portraits will resemble a Canadian flag. Respect, Unity and Pride is the main theme of this cultural mosaic.

My students engage in meaningful cultural exchange with a school in China. We delivered presentations about our countries, communities, and schools. As our students develop into tomorrow's leaders, experiences like these can foster understanding and contribute to a more peaceful global community.
