Thanks to everyone who attended the "On Guard for Thee" student mural unveiling! It was a well attended event! If you missed it, please stop by the Elgin Innovation Centre this summer to see it for yourself before it goes to the Provincial Capitol Toronto and to the Parliament of Canada in Ottawa!
Installation of "On Guard for Thee" went perfectly! 32, high school students each made a 40"x28", Canadian flag themed self-portrait. When hung together, they create a 16'x20' mural that resembles a huge Canadian flag! Canada's cultural mosaic is proudly on display by these small town kids!

Proud of my students! "On Guard for Thee" is set to be unveiled next week! The Royal Canadian Legion supported this patriotic project with a donation! When assembled, these 30 self-portraits will resemble a Canadian flag. Respect, Unity and Pride is the main theme of this cultural mosaic.
