If Bluesky suits you in a lot of ways, but you're losing confidence in the owners, it's possible that you won't need them forever.
@blackskyweb.xyz and @transrights.northsky.social are both doing valuable work to create safe communities and might be the way forward for you. Throw them a few quid.
OVH are currently having latency issues which is likely the cause of the current performance problems on Mastodon.ie
