Instead of paying ICE to harass passengers at airports, we could be using the money to hire more air traffic controllers to keep them safe.

Just heard the most trite, uninspired rendition of "Baby Face" as disco. It had ALL the disco tropes.

Mis-heard a poorly-enunciated ad on the radio, and now I really want there to be a PJ tour.

An airline security card but instead of oxygen masks, it's squid. Just roll with it.

Secure your own squid first before helping others.

(I'm disproportionately proud of this drawing.)

If one of the pros of gaming cons is gaming pros, then does it follow that one of the cons of gaming pros is gaming cons?

Why do gaming pros go to gaming cons? Seems like a mixed message

Sort of... It won't live in the car all the time, only when I'm headed out for radio purposes.

My internal soundtrack is trying to inflict some weird sort of mashup of Baby Got Back and Bust A Move on me.

A photo of a table covered in equipment.
At the bottom, to the right, is an Icom IC-7300 with its mounting bracket attached in the overhead position.
There is a mounting arm bolted to the bracket, leading off to the right.
A tiny winkeyer is tied down to the bracket.
To the left is a green plastic box.
Inside the box (not visible) is the emergency 12v 7Ah battery, the low-loss PWRGate, the 48v->13.8v DC-DC converter, and a relay to switch automatically to an external power supply.
Behind the green plastic box is a black switching 13.8v power supply.
Above these items is a computer screen, mounted to a pole.
An XFCE Linux desktop is showing on the monitor.
The 12v-powered PC is bolted to the back of the monitor.
Also visible:
Some packages of 12-10Ga disconnects, an HDMI cable, some USB cables, a digital voltohmmeter, some power cables, a dummy load and other miscellaneous bits and bobs.
Behind all this is a sofa and the rest of my living room.

My project to replace my ham pod with my car is coming together...

Eventually the radio and the computer will be mounted on a pole inside the car.
