Even then it’s kinda hard because some people just don’t post anything online, some people have similar OCs, some get sold, bought, some people use side accounts for NSFW commissions… Ultimately I’m just trying to do my best with the tools I have and I hope it never happens again!

I usually check if the person has a toyhouse or some kind of platform on which they post OC content and I run a little reverse search on their references to see if anyone else pops up, ultimately it’s complicated to know if someone’s 100% trustworthy

All of that to say, please don’t steal OCs and also don’t be weirded out if I ask for proof of ownership or do a little background check on your OC when you’re commissioning me lol

I felt really bad about it because I had put so much time and energy into these commissions, but it probably doesn’t even come close to how it must feel seeing your stolen OC in graphic content, esp when you aren’t a NSFW artist yourself and made a point you weren’t comfortable with it before

Haven’t really publicly talked about it yet because I needed some time to digest lol but last year someone commissioned two big pieces from me and it turned out it was a stolen OC from someone that has a pretty big following but that I didn’t know about
