came to my attention recently that driving heavy vehicles and getting frequent aura and ocular migraines might not be the best combination....

i'm gutted, quite frankly, that i'm unable to convince my body to allow me to pursue my dreams.

i made some buttons yesterday c:

me wanting to create something is great except i don't understand anything or have anything to say and therefore there's nothing i can make. it's very defeating, i think.

"oh, this is a nice shot" or "oh, this drawing is cool" but not knowing why i feel that way, how the result was achieved or anything of the sort. and i feel as though i'm unable to learn any of that...

i think my inability to create much of anything anymore is tied to the fact i'm painfully aware of how little i understand things at all, really. my enjoyment of everything that's ever inspired me is very surface level.

i'm really, really trying to get back into drawing. it's so tough! and i can't really do line art any more because my hands are yucky!

White is Earth clouds, pink is aurora, blue is the Sun in a specific wavelength, brown is Jupiter clouds, black is the Hubble deep field, red is the top of sprites, orange is a Mars crater, yellow is the surface of Io, green is a lake with algae, blue is Neptune, and purple is the Crab Nebula in a specific wavelength.

I made this Pride flag using only NASA images and our team thought it would be cool to share on social (I work on the NASA heliophysics communications team), but it's getting all sorts of hate on the bird app and Fbook. Thought y'all might be more appreciative of it here. ☺️🏳️‍🌈💖

twitter was absolutely the biggest offender for me it was horrendous on my end 😭😭

i hope you're able to overcome or work with these feelings and continue to create regardless! while comparing ourselves to others is quite natural, don't let it take away your outlets and drive to create! regardless of anything, the things you put out there are worth putting out there

i'm in the exact same boat because if i compare what i've done this year to what i did last year, and even the year before, i've done very little of substance

i can't seem to get back onto the path of growing and developing my skills, and i don't know how to enjoy doing them anymore :c
