I've enjoyed your apartment decorating posts, particularly the infamous Julia Child-inspired kitchen pegboard. You've done a wonderful job decorating your apartment.
I enjoyed the British series How Clean Is Your House?
I liked that they didn't renovate or buy new fad furniture. They just cleaned, decluttered, and added fresh-cut flowers to a space.
👍

There's an independent auto rental in Abbotsford now that I'll try next time.
We used to have a Budget Rent-A-Car in the urban area of Abbotsford, with trucks and all sorts of other vehicle types, but it fizzled out before COVID. There's one at the Abbotsford Airport, but the airport auto rentals (all of them) are useless because they are corporate & managed from afar.
Exactly. It was a waste of time and money. And it was utterly exhausting. Never again.
I thought it would be nice to walk on the ferry and pick up a Modo on the other side to visit Victoria, but now I'm weary.
Yeah.
Last year, I had to haul a couch and some other furniture from Abbotsford to my shipping container in Kelowna, so I rented a Modo van in Burnaby in the early AM for a round-trip day journey to Kelowna. $400 later... 💰
When I signed up in 2017, it was OGO Car Share in Kelowna, and then Modo took it over about a year later. I still have the OGO branded fob (we were never issued Modo fobs).
Since returning to Abbotsford in 2020, I haven't routinely used my membership. I keep it with the intent of returning to Kelowna at some point and visiting places like Victoria, etc. But it's getting stupidly expensive.
Yup.
I wish that, as you used the service more, there was a volume incentive.
Northern Exposure is on Prime and I have begun to rewatch the series for the first time in 34 years.
This is the show that made me move to the Yukon for a year when I was 21!
It was a simpler time. Highly recommend if you’ve never watched it.
Wow, thank you for sharing Steff. I wasn't aware.
Does the version on Prime have the original soundtrack?
It's my favourite show (with North of 60 not far behind).
It's reminiscent of the Hummer popularity in the 2000s.

Relatives drove between Chilliwack and Harrison Hot Springs yesterday on FSD 13 ~ they only disengaged to park.
@josieosborne.bsky.social BC's Urgent and Primary Care Centre's (UPCC) inability to offer or sign referrals, unlike private walk-in clinics, compounds this issue - UPCC's should be able to sign referrals & dentists should be able to refer for sleep apnea tests:

@fvca.bsky.social Are you using Tesla FSD 13? If you are, how is it?
Do you think Kelowna can get there in a few years?
Plus, Raymer Elementary School on Richter re: active transportation access.
It's disappointing the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce doesn't stand up against policy that increases economic input costs while lowering productivity.
It's a terribly designed road, too, encouraging speed, especially considering the amount of active transportation traffic in that immediate area linking TRU's main campus with retail, residences, etc.
A pedestrian was killed on this same stretch of road next to the TRU campus in 2019.
Thank you.
