Representation means showing up no matter how hard the work is! For Joey, myself, and a team of awesome people in Longmeadow, that meant getting scrapped up by pricier bushes, and cleaning up a ton of trash. Much ā¤ļø to everyone cleaning up their communities this week! ā„ļøš

Amy McDonald from the Foolish Optimist podcast and I knocked 100 doors in my neighborhood for the campaign and for our local elections today! Here's what we learned š š¦šŗšø
āA whole civilization will die tonightā is absolutely nuts. This is not normal behavior. We are in a crisis and we need to act together before this crazy fuck drives us off the cliff.
Hadnāt heard from you in a while my man, for a second I thought we may be doing OK! š
From the start, weāve made it a priority to bring generations together and build something united. Thatās how change happens.
To everyone recognizing this work, thank you! And to anyone looking to get involved, fill out our volunteer form and letās get moving!
šØENDORSEMENT ALERTšØ Much love to the College Democrats of Mass for believing in what weāre building. As a teacher, Iāve seen too many moments where younger generations arenāt taken seriously when they deserve the respect and a voice in shaping the direction of this country.
Nothing better than a day in the Berkshires with this amazing crew! Thanks to everyone who came out to volunteer, and Iāll be back in Pittsfield on Friday at the Candidates Forum. Hope to see you there! Much love Berkshires! ā„ļø
Went to 9 rallies, were repped at over 20 across the district, 500 signatures in hand (and probably 1,000 outstanding) and our current Congressman has nothing to say.
I need your help before the Q1 deadline in a few days. 10,000 people at $10/mo and we win. Can you chip in?
Thank you! š
Letās keep moving forward together, across generations, in loud declaration and in quiet reflection.
The last thing that stayed with me was what happened after. As he walked away to applause, he found his professor in the crowd and gave her a big hug. She was the reason he found the courage to speak. That connection between student, teacher, and generations, speaks volumes.
He leaned toward the mic so people could hear his quiet & steady voice.
āWe just⦠we canāt normalize this.ā
Thereās people like me whose voices carry, and then there are people like him, who step outside their comfort zone because they know staying silent isnāt an option.
He reminded me of my own students. Kind, thoughtful young people still figuring things out, but already carrying a clear sense of what the world should be. Second, I had spoken right before him, full of energy and projection, like several others had. But that wasnāt him.
During the ICE Out protest at HCC today, a man from Jamaica stepped up to the mic and paused. āIām feeling really nervous right now, Iām shaking.ā Events like this arenāt usually his thing, but to him it mattered to push past his fear of public speaking to say his piece.

My team and I show every single day how much we care about whatās happening in MA-01 and across this country, and weāre going to keep showing up. Much love to everyone whoās helped us along the way. The best is yet to come.
Meanwhile, Team Whalen showed up everywhere. I went to 23 myself. And we did it with an amazing group of people, often pairing younger and older generations of supporters, coming together because they believe we can do better and do it without corporate interests on our backs.
Richard Neal didnāt go to a single caucus. Springfield? Nope. Holyoke? Nada. Chicopee? Not a chance. Westfield? Nothing. Webster or the Brookfields? Ha! Charlemont, Worthington? Please. He hasnāt held a town hall in Pittsfield or the Berkshires since 2017.
Something is approachingā¦

Thank you! Reposted!
Trump doesnāt care about long airport lines or deadly crashes on runways, because heās got a private jet. Trump doesnāt care about gas prices shooting up, because heās never had to step out and fill a tank himself. Trump doesnāt care about lives lost in war, and more, because his silver spoon kept him far from the realities others were forced to face. Billionaires are disconnected from working and middle class life. No connection means no empathy. And if they wonāt learn it on their own, itās on us to force lesson. Tax the Rich. Break the oligarchy. But real people in power. Thatās how we take this country back.
Real people in real positions of power are the only way to break the cycle of corporate elites dictating how we live.

Holyoke, I love you. My team, my friends, my family, and my supporters, thank you and I love you too. May the wind be always at your back, and may the sun shine warm upon your face.
Much love,
Jeromie
This entire St. Patrick's Day season has shown me whatās possible when we come together for a common goal. From running in the race, to marching in the parade alongside the same people who showed up after the fires in Holyoke, itās been a profoundly meaningful experience.
I told myself before I started all of this that if I ever lost track of my principles or values, I was out. And if I ever stopped feeling joy, same thing. Thereās a lot of darkness weāre up against, but Iām proud that weāre doing it with smiles and hugs all along the way.
